went into the smoke to try to find Shay and turn her in. In the smoke, Tally met David. Shay got mad at Tally when she activated the locket. then Tally hid the locket, and was ordered to go get it. But instead of getting the locket, Tally stole and escaped on a hoverboard.
How did Tally activate the locket? Was it on purpose? Who did she tell about the locket being on the roof? Why did she need to escape? At the end of this passage, who is free and who is captured?
ReplyDeleteIn this section, I think Tally's attitude toward the operation change drastically. Part of it is her relationship with David and the other Smokies; I feel she finds some beauty in the uglies now. The other big part is the secret that Maddy and Az tell her: what was that?
The big secret is that your brain can be changed back to the way it was.
